Serving the Worman’s Mill Community


WMCA Board Minutes 1-13-2010 (cont.)

It was agreed that the following material would be placed in Carol Goldstein’s article for the February 2010 Mill Monitor:
A. Speaker for March 17, 2010 will be Karen Young, President of the Board of Aldermen, and one point of emphasis will be on the impact of declining monies in the economy on Worman’s Mill residents.  
B. Continuation of emphasis on enrollment of members in the WMCA.
C. Procedure for reservations and enrollment.
D. Scheduling of additional meetings in the Clubhouse at 7:00 p.m.(topics might be a forum for candidates for the Conservancy and a presentation by the Wormalds on an update of their building expansion plans for the Town Center)
E. Need for volunteers to attend city and county meetings

VII. Scheduling of meetings in Clubhouse (beyond dinner meetings)
It was decided that two prominent topics for this endeavor would be:  1) Forum for candidates for the Conservancy and 2) Presentation by the Wormalds on an update of the Town Center plans.  Carol Goldstein stated that she would secure a date for the Forum in the month of April.  The meetings in the Clubhouse would be open to residents of Worman’s Mill.  

VIII. Scheduling of Business Meetings
It was decided that business meetings would be scheduled with the dinner meetings on as needed basis (voting for the Board of Directors, voting on charity donations, etc.).  It was also decided that we could place the minutes and the Treasurer’s report on the bulletin board of the Clubhouse.  Carol Goldstein stated that she would attempt to receive approval to use the bulletin board for this purpose.
