V. NAC Report
Carol Goldstein reported that Ed Lulie, the first Community Prosecutor of Frederick, made a presentation that was well received. He works actively with police and functions as a liaison with the community. She recommended him as possible speaker in conjunction with the Frederick City Police Chief.
The police report that was given at this meeting listed the following data
from 12/11 to 1/7:
288 calls for service in the area
21 traffic stops in the area
10 patrol checks for disabled vehicles and car alarms
Wormald is seeking a Resident Advisory Committee to consider leasing advice for the Town Center. The following were discussed as problems with the Town Center:
Size of restaurant: 450 seats
Parking spaces: location, number – 473 total spaces and buffer for parking
Approval for subdivision of parcel into two/no use specified. Road – 23 ft
Side and cannot build road until approval for site plan.
Restaurant: parking lot 113 space/102 in parking lot. Use of spaces on
Mill Pond and Merchant and on street. Patio seating –
Questionable as to increase.
